Google Drawings (GD) is a great tool to use, but it's not a cad program so it's a bit trying to draw your site plan to scale. But I found if I used a scale of 1/8" = 1' the ruler on GD was acceptable.
Now, this took a good bit of time and if I wasn't so anal retentive I would've just redrawn my sketch so it was presentable. But that's not me!
It took me a couple of hours to draw my site plan with GD. Here it is . . .
I'll print the site plan on 11 x 17-inch paper and take it on down to City Hall. ;)
