As I mentioned in a previous post you need a site plan when you meet with the City Planner regarding your ADU. The site plan can be sketched with pencil and paper but I'm trying to be a little more "professional" so I took a second look at all eleven of the best floor plan software tools discussed on Learning Hub and I found most weren't really free, some were too complex to use for a simple site plan, and others were really designed for laying out a floor plan, not a site plan.
Then I realized I just need a simple drawing program, something like MacDraw released way back in 1984. And the solution . . . Google Drawings, part of the Google App suite of available web-based programs.
Google Drawings is free, simple to use and reminds me of MacDraw. So google Google Drawings and be on your way!
